Registration: Pedigreed cats and household pets may be shown in TICA with a pending registration number. Points may be claimed after the registration number is assigned, but only for the first show where the cat didn't have a registration number in the catalog. Subsequent shows without a registration number will not be scored. All Provisional New Breed, Advanced New Breed and New Traits entries must be TICA registered to be shown. For information on how to register your kitten(s) / cat(s), contact the TICA Executive Office at telephone (956) 428-8046.
Health Requirements: This is a non-vetted show. Cats showing signs of earmites, fleas, fungus, or illness will not be permitted in the show hall. All entries should be immunized against feline rhinotracheitis, calici virus, and feline enteritis, and should test negative for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Any cat or kitten from a house or cattery where there has been fungus or any infectious or contagious illness within 21 days prior to the opening date of the show is ineligible for entry and/or exhibition. If any cat is disqualified during the show because of an infectious or contagious condition, all cats from the same house or cattery, and any cats agented by the same exhibitor, must also be disqualified and removed from the show hall. PA law requires proof of rabies vaccination. Any cat that is obviously pregnant or lactating will be disqualified. All claws (front and back) must be clipped prior to judging. Declawed cats are eligible for entry.
Show Hours & Check-in:

Saturday 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. , Sunday by 8:30 a.m.. Judging starts at 9:00 a.m. on both days.

Advertised show hours both days are until 4:30 p.m. In consideration of our paying spectators, no cats may be removed from the show hall before 4:30 p.m. without written permission of the show manager. No cats may remain in the show hall overnight.

Show Rules: TICA Show Rules will be strictly enforced and Rosettes will be awarded in accordance with these rules. Other awards may be offered as available. By entering, exhibitors agree to abide by decisions of the Judges and Show Committee. All entries must be listed in the official show catalog. Official Show Rules may be obtained from TICA (PO Box 2684, Harlingen TX 78551).
Show Hall: Our show hall is the Old Main Building, York Fairgrounds & Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Ave, York, PA 17404. No smoking allowed in the show hall. There is a food concession in the show hall and many fine restaurants nearby, as well as fast foods. Exhibitors and spectators bringing children must keep them under proper supervision at all times or they will be asked to leave the show hall. The Susquehannock Cat Club, Inc., will not be held liable for loss, theft, or accidents to cats, kittens, personal property, exhibitors, or their guests.
Entries: An Official Entry Form or facsimile must be used for each entry. A completed Summary Sheet and full payment of all fees must accompany each exhibitor’s entry form(s). There will be a $25 fee for any payments at the door. Payments made at the door must be paid in cash. No cat will be benched until all fees are paid in full. Please provide your telephone number so the Entry Clerk may call you collect if there are significant questions about your entry(ies). Benching requests must be limited to one per exhibitor. The Club will make every effort to honor benching requests. The Club will impose a $25 charge plus bank charges on all checks returned for any reason. Please make check or Money Order payable to Susquehannock Cat Club, Payment may be made via PayPal to Susquehannockcc@comcast.net.
Benching and Supplies: Litter will be provided. A single cage (22"x 22"x 22") is provided for each entry. A single cage may have two (2) kittens or one (1) cat. The other half of the cage my be reserved for an additional $25. A Limited number of Double Cages (22x22x44) are available upon advance request on a first-come, first-served basis. Note: a maximum of 75 double cages will be available at this show. For your cat’s comfort, the top, back, sides, and bottom of cages must be covered. All cats and kittens present in the show hall must have an assigned cage. No kittens or cats may be confined to carriers, either displayed or under cages, during show hours. Any person disregarding this rule will be asked to leave the show hall. Vending from the benching area is prohibited. Exhibitors must bring litter pans, food and water bowls, and covering for cages in the benching area.
Clerks & Stewards: We need both! Please indicate on the Summary Sheet which day(s) you are available to help make this show an outstanding success. Clerks will receive $35 per day, free lunch and marked catalog. Clerking contract should be sent to the entry clerk. Stewards will receive $20 and a free lunch. (Please volunteer early for these essential jobs.)

Kittens: Kittens entered in the show must be at least 4 months, but less than 8 months of age on the day of the show. Altered kittens are eligible for entry.
Cats for Sale: Kittens for sale must be at least 3 months of age. Proof of age must be provided at check in. Kittens/cats for sale must have health certificates available to verify age and FeLV negative test results. (The dam’s certificate may be used to verify FelV negative results for kittens under 6 months old.) Sale kittens/cats without appropriate health documentation at check-in will not be permitted in the benching area. No kittens/cats may be confined to carriers during show hours. Persons disregarding this rule will be asked to leave the show hall.
Household Pets: All cats are eligible for entry in this class, mixed breed or purebred, TICA registered or not. They will be judged in all rings on condition, temperament, and appearance. All adult HHPs (8 months or older) must be altered. Only TICA registered pets are eligible to claim Master titles and to be scored for Annual Awards. Pets are judged as either longhair or shorthair, in 32 divisions. If you are unsure of your cat’s color or division, please send a color photo of your cat, along with your entry. Your photo will be returned at check-in. An Allbreed Judge will be available in the show hall each morning to settle questions of classification.
